This photograph of Wesley Strosnider is later than the one in my earlier post - the wedding picture of Eliza and Wesley. Eliza died in 1905, in Blackburn, Pawnee Co, Oklahoma Territory.
This photograph is marked with the photographer's name - R B Cooper, Blackburn, Oklahoma. I would guess, then, that the photo is after November 1907 when Oklahoma was no longer a territory.

The Onaga Herald, 26 Sept 1946
Word was received here of the death of Wesley Strosnider at the home of his eldest daughter in Fornseit, Mo, on Thursday of last week. He suffered a stroke last January and had been ill since that time. Mr Strosnider was born in Wetzel county, West Virginia, and was about 73 years of age at the time of his death. He had made his home here at the Wm Geyer home for many years before going to Missouri in November of last year. Funeral services and burial were at Fornseit.

Everett Berry Dies
Mrs Florence Berry, 78, of Havensville,
died Friday morning at the Onaga Hospital. Mrs Berry was born in West Virginia
and came to Kansas as a small child.
On December 21, 1898 she married Everett D
Berry, who died in January, 1955.
Mrs Berry is survived by one son, Ira
Berry of Havensville; two grandchildren, and two brothers, Frank Strosnider of
Onaga, and Luther Strosnider of Havensville.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p. m.
Sunday, August 26, at the Tessendorf Funeral Chapel in Onaga. Burial was at
Havensville.

Berry Obituary
Florence Strosnider, daughter of Israel
and Catherine Strosnider, was born June 3, 1878 in Wetzel County, West
Virginia, and passed away at the Onaga hospital on August 24, 1956, at the age
of 78 years, 2 months and 21 days. When
she was one year old, the family moved to Kansas and located on a farm south of
Havensville.
On December 21, 1898, she married Everett
D Berry. After living on a farm near Avoca for five years they moved to the
farm where they enjoyed the remainder of 56 years together until her husband's
death on January 28, 1955.
She will be remembered as devoting her
life and labors to her family.
She is survived by one son, Ira; two
grandchildren, Roy of Winthrop Harbor, Ill; and Ruby of Topeka; five great
grandchildren, Jane Louise, Judith Ann and Edward Roy Berry, and Betty Lou and
Larry Dean Gifford. Also out of a family of nine, she leaves two brothers,
Frank Strosnider of Onaga and Luther Strosnider of Havensville, and many nieces
and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p. m.
Sunday, August 26, at the Tessendorf Funeral Chapel in Onaga with Rev Alex
Eckert of Holton officiating. Burial was at Havensville.

Everett Berry and his mother, brother Oatis and two sisters, Viola and Eliza came from Ohio, with a few years' stop in Iowa, to Kansas in 1892, and first made their home south of Havensville. Later they moved to the Avoca neighborhood. While farming there, Everett married Florence Strosnider and their son Ira was born there. In 1907, they built a house on their farm five and one half miles south of Havensville where they lived out their lives. They lived to celebrate fifty-six years of marriage. Everett died in 1955 and Florence in 1956.

Israel Strosnider and his wife Catherine came from West Virginia in
1881 and settled five miles south of Havensville. Israel was a Civil War
veteran and his health was impaired as a result of injuries. Israel was active
in community affairs, serving in township offices for many terms. Their
children were: Helen, John, Wesley, Florence, Frank and Luther.
Their eldest child, Helen married Adam Geyer, they built a new house which was their home the rest of their days, in the neighborhood. They had three children: Alice who never married; William married Ella Brunner; Fred who married May Perry and they had one daughter. She married Robert Davies and they live in Indiana and have four children: Kathleen, Daniel, Joel and John.
John Strosnider became a lawyer, married Myrtle Franklin, practiced law and was county attorney in Oklahoma. They had one daughter, Ruth.
Wesley (Dock) went to Oklahoma where he married and raised Catherine, Alice, Edna, Grace, Julia and John.
Florence married Everett Berry, they had one son Ira.
After Israel's death in 1906, Frank made a home for his mother for many years. He married Mary Pinick and later moved to her parents' home near Onaga.
Luther married Zilda Ewing, lived on the home place and they had two daughters, Lucille and Hazel.
Ira Berry married Lola Reed in 1925 and they continued on his father's farm. Ira died in 1966 and Lola remained on the farm for ten years, which her daughter Ruby and her husband, Gary Tannahill have operated. Gary and Ruby have six children: Betty, Larry, John, Martin, Roberta and Barbara. Roy, son of Ira and Lola, entered the teaching profession. After two years of service in the Korean War, Roy married Marty Mitchell and they live at Winthrop Harbor, Illinois. They have six children: Jane, Judy, Edward, David, Susan and Carol.
