these photos online while I was working on Steve Larson’s information.
In birth order, there’s my Elizabeth (photo in last post), Lucy next in this photo with her husband Richard Keene
then sister Barbara - there
is no picture of Barbara yet, just her daughter Louisa (in last post) - followed by Nancy with her daughter Drusilla Massie.
What a
find for women who were born 200 years ago! I tried to line up three head shots of the gals, but the resolution on Lucy's photo is too low to give a good image. If someone has a higher resolution picture of Lucy and Richard, I'd like to know.
In the meantime, here's a pair for comparison:
Take a look at my great-aunt, Alberta "Bertie" (Simmons) Moore and her great-great grandmother Elizabeth (Brewer) Farnsworth. Bertie is age 16 in the photo (born 1904); Betty is in her 70s (born 1807). Hmmm, even their names sound similar - Bertie and Betty.
While I'm at it, here's the record for Betty Brewer's marriage to David Farnsworth.
